One step forward two steps back

We were surprised to learn that Ava was admitted into the hospital last night due to her cough and fever. The orphanage medical staff were concerned about her bronchitis developing into pneumonia. While we were there yesterday we assisted them with the nebulizer to help with her cough.Despite her cough she was so active yesterday. It was hard to keep her still! She was really silly and laughed alot. This is a very strange place to be right now. You have been declared her parents in the court but are caught in the middle of the 10 day wait. Kind of a helpless feeling. They asked that we not visit today. We will get to visit her tomorrow. Please keep Ava in your prayers. We will post tomorrow... hopefully with better news!

I hope little Ava feels better real soon. At least your there in Russia with her while she's in the hospital and not back home where you would feel REALLY helpless.

Get Well Soon AVA!

Nic, Big hugs to you. I know that it is tough being there and out of control as far as all of your kids go. The power of a momma's prayer is great girl. We can bust up a hurricane and a lot of lung mucus.

Nicole, I hope that Ava is doing better today!! I remember the feeling of knowing this child is yours but not being able to do what a mother and father knows to do! Enjoy your wait in Moscow! We had a great time on our wait, although by the end we were SO ready for our beds! :-)

Nicole,

I hope Ava is better tomorrow. That must be so difficult to be in that limbo state. How sad that your little angel is in the hospital, again! I can't wait for you to get her home to the hot Texas air and some good lovin'! :)
